💻 How to use this guide: keep this page open in one tab or window, and open Wealth99 in another (all the buttons below open in a new tab automatically) — that way you can follow each step here while working in your Wealth99 account side by side, without losing your place.
Before You Start

What You'll Need

Proof of identity (must not be expired):

  • Wealth99 Australia: Passport or driver's licence
  • Wealth99 Global: Passport, driver's licence, or other government-issued ID

Proof of address (Wealth99 Global accounts only) — must show your name and address, match the address you entered, and be dated within the last 6 months. Accepted: utility bills (phone landline, electricity, water, gas, internet), a rates notice, a taxation receipt, an original bank statement, or a rental agreement. P.O. boxes aren't accepted.

📸 Send clear, sharp, full-page photos with all four corners visible — blurry or cropped images will be rejected and slow things down.

Step 1

1Set up 2FA before you begin. Two-factor authentication is required. Download Google Authenticator or Twilio Authy from the App Store or Google Play — whichever you prefer.

💡 Tip: it's easier to complete sign-up from a second device (like a laptop), keeping your phone free to scan the 2FA QR code. Otherwise, save your authenticator setup code somewhere safe and enter it manually.

2Create your account.

Step 2

Verify Your Account

Wealth99 is a regulated entity and must identify all platform users under KYC and AML law — this protects both the platform and your investments. Complete verification to enable AUD deposits.

Full verification walkthrough

Get started

  1. Log in to your account and click "Get Started", then "Start Verification".

Enter your details

  1. Account purpose & source of funds: select from the dropdowns, then click "Next".
  2. Employment: enter your current occupation.
  3. Residency: enter your full residential address.

Before you start ID capture, have ready:

  • Your original Australian driver's licence or passport (digital copies or photocopies aren't accepted)
  • A device with a working camera — a mobile device gives better image quality
  • VPN switched off, to avoid verification issues

Personal information

  1. Click "Continue", then "Begin Verifying".
  2. Enter your full name and date of birth exactly as they appear on your ID.

ID upload

  1. Select the issuing country and document type (driver's licence or passport).
  2. Photograph your ID in a well-lit area to avoid shadows or glare. Need to switch devices? Click "Continue on another device" and scan the QR code shown.
  3. Check the photo is clear, all text is readable, and all four corners are visible before clicking "Use this photo" — retake if not.

Selfie verification

Follow the on-screen prompts to look at the camera and move your head as directed. Remove hats or glasses and make sure your face is well-lit.

⏱️ Processing: Wealth99 aims to complete review within 2 business days. You'll get an email once approved (check spam/junk). Once verified, you must activate 2FA via Google Authenticator.

Step 3

Fund Your Wealth99 Account

1Important bank notes:

⚠️ Do not fund from CBA — they are very anti-crypto and may block the transaction.
⚠️ ANZ has a $10,000/month restriction and may ask additional questions.

2Send proof of payment for your first transfer. Email it to [email protected], including:

  • Evidence of bank account ownership (matching the name on your Wealth99 account)
  • A bank statement showing the deposit details (account name, amount, date)

3Wait for confirmation. Once processed, Wealth99 will email you when your funds are available.

How to make the deposit
  1. Go to the Wallet section from the left-hand menu.
  2. Under the "Deposit" tab, open the drop-down and select "Australian Dollar".
  3. Bank transfer instructions will be shown — use the copy button to avoid errors.
  4. Include your unique reference code on the transfer. This is essential — transfers made without it can't be allocated to your account.
  5. Deposits must come from a bank account registered under the same name as your Wealth99 account (AML requirement).
  6. Once received, funds are usually allocated to your wallet within 1 business day.
⏳ Allocation can be delayed if payment is made after 4pm AEST, the reference code is missing or incorrect, or the sending account name doesn't match your Wealth99 account.

Step 4

Buy Crypto

Once your account is funded, you're ready to start buying crypto. Minimum order: $100 AUD for your first purchase, $50 AUD for purchases after that. Blockchain transactions are final and can't be reversed, so double-check details before confirming.

You can find your transaction history under History → Coin Trades.

Buying individual coins
  1. Go to Quick Buy on the left menu.
  2. Under the "Buy" tab, open the drop-down and choose the coin or token you want.
  3. Open the "Pay with" drop-down and choose the wallet to pay from.
  4. Enter the amount you want to spend and click "Review Order".
  5. Double-check the order details, then click "Confirm".

Setting up Auto Invest (recurring purchases)

Auto Invest sets up automatic recurring purchases for a single coin or a bundle — choose the asset, set the amount, and how often it repeats. Wealth99 handles the rest.

  1. From the left menu, go to Auto Invest and click "Create an order".
  2. Choose "Single Asset" or "Bundle".
  3. Select the coin (or bundle) — only one per order.
  4. Name your order, choose the currency to pay with, set the amount per order, choose a start date, and pick how often it repeats (daily, weekly, fortnightly, or monthly).
  5. Click "Confirm" — your order will now run automatically. You'll be notified if there isn't enough balance to cover it.

You can cancel an Auto Invest order at any time from the same section.
